A king named Chandrasena had a sorcerer named Bhushan. He was unique in keeping the king happy. One day the king was happy with him and said, "Witch, ask me for a bridegroom so that I will not be harmed and you will be of great benefit."
Bhushan said to the king, "The life of the king is like a sword. So I will ask for your gift at the right time. ” The king agreed. He was the son of one of the king's sons. He was devastated, so the king sent him to Gurukul. From there, too, he repeatedly ran home and eventually stayed. The king was very worried, and one day he spoke to the witches. On hearing all this, Bhushan said, “Maharaja, what is the reason for thinking so much for the prince? He has repeatedly said that he cannot leave his parents behind. ” The king said, "Everyone thinks so, but why do I think the Guru sent him back here as punishment for his guilt?" Bhushan said, "If this is the case, what do you have to worry about?" If the sand is silenced, it may come out of the oil, drink the juice of the pepper, and find the lion's tail. But is it not scripturally possible to explain to a fool? ”
When the king heard this, he became very angry and said, "What is the matter with you, my son, that you are a fool?" From today on, I will keep you in jail. ” At the same time, Bhushan reminded the king of the past and said, "Your Majesty, you will not be harmed but I will be profitable. He gave me such a bridegroom. I will now ask for that bridegroom." As a punishment for my wrongdoing, I will wipe the slippers of those who come to the temple. But you will not tell anyone about this punishment. ” The king agreed to his proposal. The next day he went and sat in front of a temple. He said to everyone, "Sir, I will clean the shoes of those who come to the temple to quell my ego. That's why I want your cooperation. "
At first, some people took it as a joke. But every day he bathes well and wears clean clothes and sits there and recites the Gita. He keeps the shoes of the people coming and going very carefully and keeps them tidy. Some greet him with great devotion. People respect him a lot. Even the atheist, who never came to the temple, came to the temple to see him. It's been a while. It was also rumored that all his wishes would be fulfilled if he wiped his shoes with his hands.
The news of the shoemaker reached the king. The king's family went to see him. Bhushan also cleaned the king's shoes, and said to all, "Gentlemen, my vow is over from today. Thank you so much on my behalf for your cooperation. Someone else can sit in my place if they want to. ” At the same time, many people shouted, "I'll sit down, I'll sit down." Bhushan calmed everyone down and put one there, declaring him the second shoemaker and saying to him, “When you feel that all the arrogance of your heart is destroyed, you will put someone else in this place. He will be the third shoemaker. ” With that, he returned to Rajnagar.
Seeing all this, Chandrasena was very surprised and said, "I am angry. You were punished for cleaning your shoes, but, how did Yogi become Bhushan?" So Bhushan laughed a little and said, "If the Russian puts his hand up, he will call him ascetic - if he puts the thief in that way, he will be punished." From time to time, bad things happen. I was honored by your punishment. If people knew it was a punishment for my evil deeds, they would throw stones at me. King Chandrasena asked Bhushan, "Do you have any intention behind this work, let alone what you were informing me about, now at least say something about it." Then Bhushan said, "Your Majesty, if the prince is punished by the chairman of the Gurukul, the prince must endure it." "Even if he repents, he will have a change of heart." But if he returns to the Raj Bhavan as a punishment and lives happily ever after, the punishment will have no effect on him. ”
After thinking for a while, Chandrasen said, “So many people were attracted to the glory of the shoe-yogi that all the people of the city wanted to be the shoe-yogi. You are right The prince needs to be punished. I will now go and tell the Gurukula president that if the prince makes a mistake, he will be punished there like any other disciple. ” The king did so and gave Bhushan many rewards.
As the punishment changed, a strange change took place among the princes, who became the possessors of all virtues.
