CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THE PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION THROUGH THE WEBSITE“https://apscrecruitment.in” ONLY. NO OTHER MODE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION IS ALLOWED.A) The Online Applications can be filled up from 10-09-2020 to 10-10-2020 till 12:00 Midnight after which the link will bedisabled. Detailed instruction for filling up online application is available at Appendix I.B) Candidates are not required to upload any document along with their online application in support of their claims regardingAge, Educational Qualifications, Category viz. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes/ EconomicallyWeaker Sections and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities etc. which will be verified at the time of the Viva-Voce Interview only.However candidates need to provide details of the concerned certificates (BPL, EWS, PWBD as applicable) while filling the onlineapplication form. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions foradmission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Commissionviz. Preliminary Examination, Main (Written) Examination and Personality Test (Interview) will be purely provisional, subjectto their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Preliminary Examination,Page 2 of 11 Main (written) Examination and Personality Test (Interview), it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions; theircandidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Commission.C) While filling in his/her Application Form, the candidate should carefully decide about his/her choice of centre for theexamination. If any candidate appears at a centre other than the one indicated by the Commission in his/her AdmissionCertificate, he/she will not be allowed to sit in the examination (Both Prelims & Mains).D) Since the applications are submitted online, the question of submission of application through proper channel in case of thecandidates already employed becomes redundant. However, such candidates shall intimate their appropriate appointing authorityabout submission of application in writing.E) Persons already in Government Service, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees otherthan casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are however, required to submit anundertaking that they have informed in writing to their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination at thetime of Viva-Voce Interview. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by theCommission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the examination, their application will be liable tobe rejected/candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
