 1.  MUMBAI: China is busy buying shares in Indian Bank, People's Bank of China has bought ICICI Bank's shares.


 2.  New Delhi: The World Bank has also forecast that India's growth will be severely affected by the corona epidemic.  India had earlier projected a 3.2 per cent slowdown in growth.  But given the way the situation is going, India’s economy will fall even lower than expected, the World Bank said.


 3.  Bhubaneswar: In view of the impact of the Covid epidemic, the state finance department has extended the deadline for submission of life certificates for pensioners by another six months.  Life certificates for 2020 were to be issued by November.  Pensioners and family pensioners can apply for the certificate by May 2021.


 ୪.  New Delhi: Gaming platform 'Dream4-11' has secured the main sponsorship for this year's edition of IPL4 for Rs 222 crore.  However, in the next two editions, the BCCI is reluctant to keep Dream4-11 at this rate.  On Tuesday, IPL chairman Brijesh Patel announced Dream4-11 as the main sponsor of the IPL4.  However, no official announcement has been made by the board, according to BCCI sources.


 5.  Bhubaneswar: Heavy rains are expected in 12 districts from today
